Coronavirus staff redeployment survey

Closed 13 Apr 2020

Opened 30 Mar 2020

Overview

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has put a huge additional demand on Homecare and Care Home services and in response we are looking for employees willing to volunteer to support the delivery of these critical services.

Roles include homecare, residential care, catering, cleaning, driving, management of PPE and help with Community Assistance Hubs.

By offering your support, you can make a significant difference, not just to vulnerable clients and those we care for but to colleagues and the wider community we serve.

We are looking for volunteers within our organisation who are not undertaking an essential role in the service within which they currently work, or are unable to work at home because of IT or because of the nature of their current role.

What support will be provided?

Training will be provided and it would be great if you could volunteer to come and work with us temporarily to cope with this really challenging situation.

Would this be a temporary redeployment?

Yes, staff would be temporarily seconded on their current pay rate and appropriate training will be provided. If staff have been PVG checked that would be helpful, but not essential.

What happens next

You will be contacted to discuss what alternative role you can assist with.
