Hawick Active Travel Campaign - Agents Of Change Entry Form

Closes 14 Sep 2025

Opened 21 Aug 2025

Overview

Scottish Borders Council is excited to roll out RIDONKULOUS, a new active travel campaign happening in Hawick and the surrounding area. It’s all about getting you moving, whether it’s walking, wheeling or cycling for short everyday trips. Swap the car for your trainers or wheels and make your journey part of the adventure.

We are looking for Agents of Change (similar to a brand ambassador) in each year group and inviting teachers to apply too. Our Agents will help promote active travel within their school and be a role model for the community.

Tell us why you should be an Agent of Change in a few words. One lucky Agent from each year group and one teacher from each school, will receive a cool RIDONKULOUS hoodie and fun goodies to help you whizz from place to place in style.

Why your views matter

You are the future, so your views are important

Join the RIDONKULOUS fun! We want you and your friends to jump into this RIDONKULOUS adventure by picking fun ways to get around, like walking, wheeling or cycling. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors, keep your body happy and healthy, and it’s good for the environment.
