Chiefswood Road Melrose Feedback
Overview
As part of the Spaces for People programme Scottish Borders Council turned Chiefswood Road into a temporary oneway road (downhill) to allow space for a temporary shared pedestrian and cycle path between June and September.
The Council would now like pedestrians, cyclists, residents and drivers to share their experiences of the temporary arrangement.
Using an AI monitor on a lampost the Council can report that between June * and September * the path was used by:
* pedestrians
* cyclists
Over the same period * cars were counted heading downhill.
