Jim Clark Rally 2019
Overview
The organisers of the Jim Clark Rally have lodged an application with Scottish Borders Council seeking a Motor Sport Order to run the event on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November 2019.
To approve the rally, new legislation requires the Council to consider any potential impacts, both positive and negative, on local communities and businesses. It also requires that the public are consulted about the planning and implementation of the event.
Details of the proposed stages are available at www.scotborders.gov.uk/jimclarkrally
What happens next
Following the consultation we will weigh up the views expressed along with a variety of other factors before deciding on whether to issue a Motor Sport Order for the event to take place.
