Overview

The Council is keen to reduce the number of bins on the pavement on Magdala Terrace and High Buckholmside, and would like to work with residents to try and find a way forward.

The Council has received comments regarding the bins in this area being permanently left on the pavement. The number of bins on the pavement does not create a good impression to visitors to the town and creates an inconvenience for pedestrians and residents alike. However, we also appreciate that the steep stairs leading to many gardens makes it difficult for bins to be moved off the pavement out with collection days.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to answer the questions below so that we can gather information on the current waste collection arrangements, and any suggested improvements.
