Scottish Borders Council has received a request for the lease of the Old Corn Exchange Shop, Peebles High Street that will result in a change of use from a class 1 use to a hot food takeaway. Under the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 the local authority is required to consult with the local community when there is a proposal to change the use of Common Good property.
