Play Area Improvements - Ayton

Overview

In 2022, a £4million Capital Investment Plan was approved for the strategic upgrade and renewal of prioritised play areas throughout 2022-2029, in recognition of the value of these facilities to community wellbeing as part of vibrant, sustainable and healthy communities. This programme incorporates £900k of Scottish Government funding as part of a national Play Parks Renewal Programme.

Scottish Borders Council is currently planning a renewal of the playpark at Ayton. The budget, for removal of equipment, surfacing  and new equipment is £76,000.
